Females have made a significant part to medical advancement for their participation in clinical research tests. Each of these trials results in a new possibility and become a knowledgeable base for succeeding clinical trials. A lot of thousand of females are needed as research subjects for each test in order to show substantial differences in therapeutic modalities.
During the trials, these females are told that they will be given a base or observational treatment randomly, so they cannot know if they are getting the treatment or not. These make these females very brave people since they are willing to participate for the sole purpose of finding a solution or a cure. Each trial requires the sequence of various treatments or the addition of a fresh drug.
Breast Cancer Fundraising
The National Needle Arts Association created a very interesting and fascinating breast cancer fundraising idea. Four large wall hangings which shows all, or at least the major needle handcraft skills. These four walls will be used to raise funds as well as to advertise awareness for breast cancer and they will be revealed nationally. The United States Government has brought out the first breast cancer fund raising stamp through these wall hangings, known as the Breast Cancer Research Stamp.
The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is one of the largest breast cancer fundraiser nowadays. Founded by the sister of a victim of breast cancer, this community based organization has raised funds to seek and discover a cure for breast cancer for over the past 20 years. Speeds and test driving of motorcars have been activities that this Foundation has been doing in order to produce hundred of millions of dollars with the help of their community.
